I have no internets at home
I'll try to post from school, like I'm doing now. I have to go to shorinji though. So I'll just say that internet is very much a part of my daily life, and it is strange to not have it readily available for use in my home. Hopefully that will be taken care of soon. I also hope to find a place to do my laundry. People came over last night and we watched little miss sunshine in Japanese. The voice actors aren't as good as real actors, their voices are too generic, and they speak Japanese which just isn't nearly as interesting of a language as English. Also, using foul language is much more expressive and allows for more creativity in English. It was fun having people over though, and I think it will start happening more often.
Also, I met Johnny (maria's bf) for the first time last week. He's a good guy and I think he enjoyed is brief stay in Tokyo. We made some great food for dinner on Monday night. Pasta with chicken and veggies, a salad, and some garlic bread. It was great. Also, I've been eating a huge amount of food lately. I can't remember if this is how much I used to eat or not, but it seems like more. I just don't get full. I think I'm up to 5 meals a day, like they recommend, except I don't think you could call them "small meals". oh well. if i start cooking more, and packing sack lunches instead of eating out, it won't be much of a financial problem. I'm looking forward to seeing people when the come, maria in nov. faith in dec. travis and possibly erin in spring(i think march). and then my parents and possibly bretton next summer. Also, I'll try to get down to Kyoto to see everyone there in November, I hear Autumn is the best time for Arashiyama, where Raul lives, cause of the momiji. mmm.. maple trees? i think. ok.
